In the heart of downtown De Pere, just a two-minute walk from The Ennis Inn and Pub, Voyageur Park offers those of all ages a play space. The shelter provides the perfect space for a party or a brief reprieve from a passing rain cloud. The park is accessible by car, walking the Fox River State Trail or De Pere Riverwalk, as well as by boating the Fox River.
For younger children, Voyageur Park has just built a new playground. It was completed in May 2018 and is De Pere’s first inclusive park. This means that for parents, guardians and children with limited mobility, they can access and use the park to its fullest extent.
Fishing is also available from the docks and river bank of Voyageur Park. Take this opportunity to teach your children or grandchildren how to bait a hook, cast, and have fun fishing.
During the summer, Voyageur Park also hosts the city band, a collection of musicians who have come together for some fun. If familiar with an instrument, ask how you can join the band! Or stop by to listen and enjoy. Several festivals are also held at Voyageur Park, including the fourth of July fireworks, the De Pere Riverwalk Fest, and so much more.
